“Enhancing Lifecare” isn’t just our slogan, it’s our mission.
Last December, KPI Healthcare and the Negros Occidental Rehabilitation Foundation, Inc. (NORFI) joined forces to hold a Christmas party for disabled children and their families in Bacolod City, Philippines.
NORFI is a World Health Organization Collaborating Center known for providing rehabilitation services to improve the quality of life to disabled indignant persons. The foundation’s programs include comprehensive medical evaluations, motor development therapy, therapeutic exercises and social work executed by a qualified team of like-minded volunteers, doctors, and rehabilitation experts.
Inspired to bring the spirit of Christmas to those in need, KPI Healthcare’s CFO, Teresa Jacob, and NORFI’s event coordinator, Lucilyn Semillano, teamed up to make a difference. As a result, KPI Healthcare raised funds at their international headquarters through various donations to bring this philanthropic Christmas party to life.
On the day of the event, over 100 children and their families attended the Christmas party to find plenty of food, gifts, and fun giveaways throughout the day.
Many families gave testimonies as to how NORFI improved their children’s lives through physical and occupational therapy, as well as educating them on how to care for their child and learning there is a support system for children who share similar conditions.
KPI Healthcare will continue to “Enhance Lifecare” for communities who are in need of change.
